Cambodia trips from the UAE: what we arrange
Few UAE residents fly to Cambodia on its own; most add it to Bangkok or Ho Chi Minh City, which are a short flight away. We book the connecting flight, a Siem Reap hotel, an English-speaking guide, the Angkor pass and transfers. For a longer trip, our five-day plan adds Phnom Penh, with the Royal Palace and the Tuol Sleng Genocide Museum.

Day 1: Arrive in Siem Reap
Evening at the night market.

Day 2: Angkor Wat at sunrise, Angkor Thom and Ta Prohm
Leave before dawn for sunrise over Angkor Wat. Then the walled city of Angkor Thom: the stone faces of the Bayon and the Terrace of the Elephants. Afternoon at Ta Prohm, where tree roots grow over the ruins.

Day 3: Banteay Srei and Tonle Sap
The pink sandstone carvings of Banteay Srei in the morning, then a boat trip to a floating village on the Tonle Sap lake in the afternoon.

Day 4: Fly onward
Drive to the airport and fly on to Bangkok or Ho Chi Minh City, or straight home.

Pairing Cambodia with Thailand or Vietnam
Siem Reap is about an hour by air from Bangkok, so it fits at the start or end of a Thailand tour package from the UAE. Kuala Lumpur also connects, if you are adding Cambodia to a Malaysia tour package from the UAE. Flying into one country and home from another usually lowers the flight cost per country.
