Eid Holiday Packages from Abu Dhabi and Dubai

With only four days, flight time decides the trip. Every hour in the air is an hour less at the destination, and on Eid you also lose time to busy airports. As a rule, keep the flight under four hours for a four-day Eid, and save long flights for when spring break or leave adds days.

Eid is the busiest travel window of the year after the summer break. Most UAE residents get the same days off, so they all want to fly out on the same one or two evenings. Airlines and hotels price for that demand, and the cheaper seats on each flight go first. The late moon-sighting announcement adds to it: many people wait for the official dates and then book at once.

• Fly out the evening before the holiday starts; it is often cheaper than the first morning of Eid.
• Come back a day early or a day late to avoid the busiest return flight.
• Pick a less obvious destination, such as Kyrgyzstan instead of Georgia, when Georgia fares spike.
• Book a group departure, where the flight seats were bought months in advance.
• Compare a smaller hotel in the same area with the big chain hotel; the gap is widest in holiday weeks.

   This is when most good Eid fares are still available.

   Apply for e-visas, add tours and travel insurance, and request rooms and seats.

   Once the moon is sighted and the holiday is announced, we check your flights still fit and handle any one-day change.
