Names on PSA certificates sometimes differ from the passport, for example a mother's maiden name, a middle name used as a first name, or a typo from the local civil registry. Fix it at PSA or explain it in writing before applying. We compare the spelling on every page so the UAE application and the Manila exit check see the same names.

The Philippine immigration exit check: what to carry
A UAE visa lets your visitor enter the UAE. It does not by itself get them out of the Philippines. The checklist below is what we give every Filipino visitor.
Checklist
- Printed UAE visa and passport
- Printed return ticket, with dates inside the visa
- Where they will stay: a hotel booking, or your invitation letter with your address in the UAE
- Proof of funds or of your support: bank statement, or your salary certificate
- PSA birth or marriage certificate showing how you are related
- Certificate of employment and approved leave, or school or business papers, showing ties at home
First-time travellers are asked more questions than people with earlier trips stamped in the passport. Tell your visitor to answer simply, carry the papers in one folder and keep your UAE mobile number handy in case the officer wants to call you.

The arrival date must fall inside the visa's entry window and the return before the stay ends, counted from landing. Officers in Manila look for exactly that, so we book both together.
