Who can sponsor or apply for a UAE visit visa
There are two common ways to bring someone to the UAE. Friends and relatives who do not fit the family rules usually come on a tourist visa, which we apply for through the authority's system with the visitor as the applicant.
If you are not sure which route fits, send us the visitor's passport copy and tell us how you are related. We tell you the right visa before you send anything else.

For most family visits a 30 or 60 day visa is enough. A longer visa costs more, so we suggest the shortest one that covers the visitor's dates, with room for a delayed flight.

5-year multiple entry tourist visa: who qualifies
The UAE issues a 5-year multiple entry tourist visa for people who visit often, such as parents who come every year. The visitor sponsors themselves.
Because the conditions are strict, we check the visitor's bank statement and insurance against the current rules before we apply, so the fee is not wasted on an application that does not meet them. If cover is missing, we can arrange UAE visit visa insurance.

How long it takes to get the visa
Some applications are held for extra checks. Apply as soon as the visitor's dates are set, and do not book non-refundable flights until the visa is issued.

Visa ending soon? Changing or extending inside the UAE
If your visitor wants to stay longer, some visit visas can be extended, others need a new visa issued inside the country, and in some cases the visitor has to exit and re-enter. Start at least a week before the expiry date. Our page on UAE visa change and A2A compares the routes and their costs.

Why visit visas get rejected and how to avoid it
- A blurred or cropped passport scan

When the sponsor lives in Dubai: what changes
A family visit visa follows the sponsor's emirate. For tourist visas the issuing route depends on how the visa is applied for.

What is the 60 days visit visa for UAE price?
Insurance, if the authority asks for it, is shown as its own line on the quote.
What are the UAE visa requirements?
For most visit visas we need a clear passport copy of the visitor with enough validity, a white background photo and, if you are sponsoring, your Emirates ID and residence details.
Can I extend a tourist visa in the UAE?
Bring us the visa copy at least a week before it expires and we will tell you which route applies and what it costs.
Can you apply for a UAE visa online for me?
Yes. We submit the application on the official system for you, so you do not need to visit any government office. You send the documents by WhatsApp or bring them to Mushrif Mall, we check them, apply and send you the visa copy as soon as it is issued.
Who decides if a UAE visit visa is approved?
UAE immigration decides, not Happy Journey. Depending on where the visa is issued, that is the Federal Authority for Identity, Citizenship, Customs and Port Security or GDRFA Dubai. Our job is to send a complete, correct application so it is not delayed or rejected for a missing or unclear document.
