Europe Tour Packages from UAE: Multi-Country Trips
A Europe tour package from the UAE usually covers two to four countries in 7 to 14 days, most often Paris, Switzerland and Italy. Happy Journey packages include flights from Abu Dhabi or Dubai, hotels with breakfast, trains or coach between cities and key sightseeing, and our Abu Dhabi team prepares your Schengen visa file in the same office.

Europe tour package prices by trip length
A Europe trip from the UAE is priced mainly by its length and the number of countries, then by hotel grade, the way you travel between cities and the month. The table shows starting prices per person, sharing a double room, with return flights from Abu Dhabi or Dubai. The Schengen visa fee is extra.

Switzerland is usually the most expensive part of any route, for hotels, meals and mountain excursions. Paris and Rome hotels cost more in the centre but save time and taxi fares. Escorted coach tours can work out cheaper per day than independent rail, because hotels outside city centres and group entry tickets keep costs down; independent trips cost more but give you central hotels and free time.
- Season: July, August and December cost the most; May, June and September are better value
- Flights: flying into one city and out of another, such as Paris in and Rome out, saves a day of backtracking
- Mountain excursions: Mt Titlis, Jungfraujoch and the Glacier Express are priced separately on many trips
- City taxes: most European cities charge a small tax per person per night, paid at the hotel
- Children: our Google profile lists kids' and family discounts, applied where the hotel, rail operator or airline allows
If your dates can move, the cheapest tour packages this month often include a Europe departure. For a slower trip in one country, see our Switzerland tour packages from UAE.

Popular routes: Paris, Switzerland and Italy, and more
Most first trips to Europe from the UAE start with Paris and Switzerland. Second trips add Italy, or go somewhere new: the Greek islands, the Alps of Austria and Bavaria, or London. Routes we plan:

Paris and Switzerland, 7 to 8 days
Three nights in Paris for the Eiffel Tower, the Louvre, a Seine cruise and Disneyland, then three or four in central Switzerland for Lucerne, Interlaken and Mt Titlis. The classic first trip to Europe.

Paris, Switzerland and Italy, 10 to 12 days
Adds Venice, Florence, Pisa and Rome after the Alps. On a coach tour, it often includes a night in Innsbruck and a stop in Liechtenstein. Fly home from Rome.

Italy and Greece, 10 days
Rome and Florence, then a short flight to Athens and a ferry to Santorini or Mykonos.

Austria, Germany and Switzerland, 8 to 10 days
Munich, Salzburg, Innsbruck and Zurich or Lucerne, linked by scenic trains and lakes. Includes outlet shopping at Metzingen on our Germany trips. Good in summer and at the Christmas markets.

London add-on, 3 to 4 nights
London before or after Paris, by train under the Channel. The UK is not in Schengen, so you need a separate UK visa from UAE unless your passport is exempt.
Not ready for a multi-country trip? Turkey is closer, needs no Schengen visa for many passports, and mixes Europe and Asia in one city. See our Turkey tour packages from UAE.
03
What the Europe package includes
A Europe package handles the parts that take the most planning: flights that match your visa dates, hotels in the right areas, transport between countries and the sights that need tickets booked ahead.
Checklist
- Hotels in your chosen grade with daily breakfast
- Arrival and departure airport transfers
- Transport between countries: high-speed trains, or a private or escorted coach
- Key sightseeing named in your itinerary, such as a Paris city tour, the Eiffel Tower second level, a Seine cruise, Mt Titlis and a Rome city tour
- Visa assistance: we prepare your Schengen file and book the appointment
- Travel insurance that meets Schengen visa rules, on most packages
Not included unless your quote says so:

- Schengen visa fee and visa centre service charges
- City taxes, paid at each hotel
- A Swiss Travel Pass, which covers most Swiss trains, boats and city transport and gives discounts on mountain railways (optional; we price it if it saves you money)
- Lunches and dinners, and entry to sights not listed
- Optional excursions such as Jungfraujoch or a Venice gondola, unless listed
- Tips for drivers and guides on coach tours
Europe hotel rooms are smaller than UAE rooms, and triple and family rooms are limited. Book early if you need them, and tell us if anyone needs a bathtub, an extra bed or step-free access.
04
Sample 10-day itinerary across three countries
Three countries in ten days is a comfortable pace: three nights in each, with a train between them in the middle of the day so you arrive in time for an evening walk. You fly into Paris and home from Rome.

- 01
Day 1: Arrive in Paris
Fly from Abu Dhabi or Dubai to Paris and transfer to your hotel. Evening walk along the Seine or up to the Trocadéro for the Eiffel Tower lit up.
- 02
Day 2: Paris city tour, Eiffel Tower and Seine cruise
A guided tour past the Arc de Triomphe, the Champs-Élysées, Notre-Dame and the Louvre, then the Eiffel Tower to the second level and an evening Seine cruise.
- 03
Day 3: Disneyland or the Louvre
A day at Disneyland Paris for families, or the Louvre, the Musée d'Orsay and Montmartre for adults. Shopping on Boulevard Haussmann.
- 04
Day 4: Train to Switzerland
High-speed train from Paris to Basel or Zurich, about three and a half to four hours, then a regional train to Lucerne or Interlaken. Evening by the lake.
- 05
Day 5: Mt Titlis and Lucerne
Cable cars up Mt Titlis, including the rotating gondola and the glacier, then an afternoon in Lucerne: the Chapel Bridge, the old town and the Lion Monument.
- 06
Day 6: Interlaken and the Jungfrau region
A day in Interlaken with a stop at Lauterbrunnen's waterfalls, or the train to Jungfraujoch at extra cost. Lindt Home of Chocolate near Zurich is an option on the way back.
- 07
Day 8: Florence and Pisa
Morning in Florence for the cathedral dome, the Ponte Vecchio and Piazza della Signoria; afternoon at the Leaning Tower of Pisa.
- 08
Day 9: Train to Rome
High-speed train to Rome, about an hour and a half. Afternoon at the Colosseum and the Roman Forum, evening at the Trevi Fountain and Piazza Navona.
- 09
Day 10: Vatican and fly home
Morning at St Peter's Square and the Vatican, then transfer to Rome airport for your flight to the UAE.
Want Venice? Swap Florence for a night in Venice on day 7, with a gondola or vaporetto ride, and take the train from Venice to Rome on day 9, about four hours. Four countries in ten days is possible but leaves little free time; for a longer route, see the 14-day version in the price table.
Our escorted coach version of this route runs over 12 days: Paris, Disneyland, the Rhine Falls with a short boat ride, three nights in Switzerland, then Vaduz in Liechtenstein, Innsbruck and the Swarovski Crystal Worlds, Padova, Venice, Pisa, Florence and Rome. It suits travellers who prefer not to handle luggage on trains.
05
Schengen visa for your Europe trip
Most UAE residents need a Schengen visa for a Europe tour, unless their passport is visa-exempt. One Schengen visa covers France, Switzerland, Italy, Austria, Germany, Greece and the other Schengen countries. Your application goes to the country with the most nights on your trip, or, if nights are equal, the country you enter first. We prepare the file in our Abu Dhabi office:
- 01
Plan the route first
We fix the itinerary so the main country is clear, then hold flights and hotels that can be confirmed after the visa.
- 02
Gather your documents
We send a checklist for your nationality and job, and check every page before submission.
- 03
Attend for biometrics
You visit the centre in person for fingerprints and a photo, unless you gave them recently.
- 04
Collect your passport
Once the decision is made, you collect your passport or have it couriered, and we confirm the rest of the trip.
Checklist
- Passport valid for at least three months after you leave the Schengen area, issued within the last ten years
- Recent passport photos to Schengen size
- Salary certificate or trade licence, and bank statements for the last three to six months
- Flight reservation and hotel bookings for the whole trip
- Travel insurance with at least EUR 30,000 of medical cover, valid in all Schengen countries
The full requirements, fees and tips for a strong file are on our Schengen visa from Abu Dhabi page. We do not quote processing times without checking the current season, as they change month to month.

Escorted group tours or independent travel
There are two ways to tour Europe from the UAE. On an escorted tour, you travel by coach with a tour manager and a fixed group; on an independent trip, you take trains between cities on your own timetable, with hotels and tickets booked by us. Both include flights and hotels.

- Escorted coach tour
- Usually lower
- Independent rail trip
- Usually higher
Hotels
- Escorted coach tour
- Often outside city centres
- Independent rail trip
- Central, chosen by you

- Independent rail trip
- You carry it onto trains

- First-timers, older travellers, groups who want company
- Independent rail trip
- Couples, families with older children, return visitors

Many families mix the two: an independent stay in Paris and Switzerland, where trains are easy, and a guided day in Rome or the Vatican, where a guide saves time in queues. A private driver for one or two days, in Switzerland for example, is another option for families with young children or older parents.

Most UAE families travel in July and August, when schools are off and Europe is warm. It is the busiest and most expensive time, so book by spring and start the Schengen visa early. For cooler weather and fewer queues, May, June and September are the best months for a first Europe trip. For more cool summer escapes, see our summer holiday packages from uae.
Snow on Mt Titlis and at Jungfraujoch lasts all year, so children can play in snow even in August.
08
Documents and travel insurance
Buy travel insurance for your trip before your visa appointment: Schengen embassies ask for a policy with at least EUR 30,000 of medical cover that is valid in all Schengen countries for every day of the trip. Medical care in Europe is expensive for visitors, and insurance also covers delays, lost luggage and cancellations if you choose that cover.
Checklist
- Passport with your Schengen visa (and UK visa, if you add London)
- Valid UAE residence visa
- Printed or saved flight tickets, hotel vouchers and train tickets
- Travel insurance certificate
- Some euros and Swiss francs in cash for small purchases
- A credit card for hotel deposits and city taxes
- A European plug adapter; Switzerland uses its own three-pin plug as well
Keep your passport in a zipped inside pocket in busy places such as the Paris metro, the Eiffel Tower area and Rome's stations, where pickpockets target tourists. Leave a copy of every document on your phone and with a family member at home.

Questions
Europe trip questions
The questions UAE travellers ask us most about Europe tours. Ask yours on WhatsApp, call 02 679 8008 or visit our travel agency in Abu Dhabi at Mushrif Mall.
How much is a 7 day Europe tour package from the UAE?
The Schengen visa fee is extra. July, August and December departures cost the most.
How much does a 14 day Europe tour package cost?
Escorted coach tours can work out cheaper per day than independent rail trips, but with less free time.
Do I need a Schengen visa for a Europe tour from the UAE?
Most UAE residents need a Schengen visa for a Europe tour unless their passport is visa-exempt, such as some GCC and EU nationalities. One visa covers all Schengen countries, applied through the country where you spend the most nights.
How early should I book a Europe tour from Abu Dhabi?
Flights and hotels are confirmed once the visa is approved, or held with a refundable deposit. For July and August, start planning by spring.
Are there cheap flights from Abu Dhabi to Europe?
Yes, cheaper fares from Abu Dhabi to Europe are common outside July, August and December, especially to cities served by low-cost carriers. Flying into one city and out of another, such as Paris in and Rome out, often saves time and money.
How many European countries can I cover in 10 days?
Three countries is a comfortable pace in 10 days, for example France, Switzerland and Italy, with three nights in each and a train between them. Four is possible but leaves little free time. We plan around train times so you spend days sightseeing, not waiting at stations.
